Tonight I am going out with the girls. The last time I did this the calendar year was 2006. Tanner and I usually go out together or I'll host a little something at our place, but I haven't actually gone out with my friends in a long time. (Obviously) I am really really looking forward to it.
I'll be limited on time and drinks because Tanner will be working in the morning and I'll need to be home and up with Turner at 7 a.m. Cooking breakfast and chasing after a toddler that early in the morning does not go well with a hangover. I'm not taking any chances. I'll probably have a drink with dinner and focus more on socializing than tossing back brewsky's, but I'm really looking forward to some girly time.
Tomorrow night we might actually get to have a backyard camp out. We'll put the tent up and have a small campfire. We'll roast wienie's and make Smore's and after Turner crashes, we hope to have a glass of wine and relax by the fire. We've been trying to do this for weeks and we either had things come up or the weather didn't cooperate. I hope it goes well. If it does, I'll take some pics and post them here.
Sunday will be the usual. Family Time. Just the three of us hanging out and enjoying our time at home before the work week cycle begins.
