Lauren Avery Steinbauer - 6 months

Dear Lauren,

You light up my days with your smiles. It seems like some days you never stop smiling. I hope you never stop smiling. It's beautiful. (Even without teeth!) I think we are going to share many laughs together. I love to laugh; hopefully, you will too. Your belly laugh makes us all laugh when we hear it. I will never get enough of hearing you and your brother giggle together. It's one of those things that make me so happy to be a Mom. Your sweet demeanor fills our family with joy. You inspect, pull, and drop objects constantly. It's a fun game you like to play and you never tire of it. I will probably think of your drop/pick up game right before my first back or knee surgery. I've lost count of how many times I've had to unravel my hair out of your slobbery little fist. You are getting up on your hands and knees now and rock back and forth. I think you will be crawling very soon. Bath time is still your favorite time of day. No matter how many times I try to feed you sweet potatoes; you ALWAYS spit them out. Funny, they were your brother's favorite. You roll around a room with light speed. You make the cutest scrunchy face when you poop. You laugh every time I say "poop". You love playing peek-a-boo with Turner and he loves to make you laugh. I have a feeling the two of you are going to be partners in crime. I will have my work cut out for me. You love my necklaces and chewing on the handle of my purse. It won't be long until you will have little necklaces and purses of your own. I am excited for those days, but for now I wish I could push pause and keep you 6 months of age for a while longer. I can't stop kissing you. I love holding you and studying your face, your marshmallow arms, your chubby legs, your tiny toes. I love you so so much Lauren Avery. We all do. You are truly a blessing.

Hugs and Kisses,
Mama
