We enrolled Turner in swim lessons this Fall and he LOVES it. We even purchased him a pair of snazzy prescription goggles! The first time he wore them he was so excited and he said, "Mommy, I can see the bottom of the pool and I can see legs!" He must have been swimming blind without his glasses. It was sobering to realize how poor his vision really is. Regardless, he is quite fearless and is so proud when he accomplishes something new. He can back float and put his entire head under the water now. He isn't afraid to jump in and be completely submerged. Plus, he's wore out at the end of the night which helps our evening go much easier than the nights we struggle to find outlets for his pent up energy.
These pics aren't the greatest, but it's difficult to snap pictures discreetly. I try to avoid being the Mom using flash photography and making a scene.
