Lauren at 1 year

Lauren had her 12 month check up on Thursday.

Weight: 22 lbs. (70th percentile)
Height: 30 inches. (70th percentile)
Head circumference: We're up to the 30th percentile!!

She had to get 5 shots and then go down the hall to have blood drawn to ensure she hasn't been overly exposed to lead or that she is anemic.

What a day!

Sometimes it's so tough being little.

I gave her lots of extra hugs and cuddle time that evening. Poor little Lauren!

Presently, Lauren sees the same pediatrician as Turner, but I'm thinking about switching her over to a female pediatrician. I think she would feel more comfortable with a woman. By 'she' of course I mean ME. I would feel more comfortable with a woman examining my daughter than a man. I wish I didn't feel that way, but I do. Us girls have to stick together! =)
