We just received the results of Turner's chest x-ray this morning and they couldn't find any fluid so he's good to go! Pneumonia has been eliminated from our worries!
Last night, Turner continued to run a really high fever and Children's Motrin has helped take his temp back down but it seems that not even 5 hours later, it's right back up. The nurse at his Pediatrician's office advised that we give him Children's Tylenol, wait three hours, then give him Children's Motrin. She thinks that should do the trick until he is fever free.
It's been a long weekend for all of us and I just hope we all feel better very very soon! We are exhausted!
I almost can't wait to get back to work tomorrow. . . almost. Then again, we've been taking advantage of Turner's naptime and taking naps ourselves. What are we going to do when we have to go all day without a nap? Yikes! This could get ugly.
Well, I'm glad it's nothing serious...but I sure hope the lil guy starts to get better, soon! For all of your sake!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear it's not anything worse in his chest! I'm sure you guys were so worried about that. We do the alternating between motrin and tylenol like the nurse mentioned and sometimes it seems to help because they aren't going as long between doses. Hope you get some rest tonight!
