Tanner is home with Turner today because he ran a fever all night and into this morning. The poor kid just can't seem to shake this illness.
Tanner and Turner went back to the doctor today. (Our 3rd visit in 4 days) This time he met with Turner's regular Pediatrician and he was told to stop rotating the Tylenol and Motrin and that we should never do that with him. We are so frustrated because that is what we were advised to do from the nurse on call on Saturday and again by the doctor at the Urgent Care facility on Sunday. I could just scream!
So anyway, Turner has been prescribed antibiotics and will need to be kept at home again tomorrow. Paw-paw Steinbauer has volunteered to help out so he'll be covering for us while we are at work. I hope he doesn't get sick too!
Grandma Dixon bailed us out on Saturday and helped with Turner while I was recovering from the flu. As of yesterday, she wasn't feeling too great herself.
We're such a bunch of sickies! I need to quarantine our house. I'm predicting that my upcoming weekend is going to include lots of laundry and cleaning around the house. As much as I want to relax, I'm even more afraid of us getting sick again and that just isn't an option. The last few days have been a nightmare.
Wish us luck with Turner and his antibiotics. Hopefully, this will do the trick!
